. Cookie monster wants NOM

Current mood: Full

Listening to: The sound of pouring rain

There's only one word that's able to describe my mood today.

NOM.

That's right.

NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM.

I've been eating and eating and eating, and I've no guilt. C:

Akan tetapi saya ingin mengucap, "Alhamdulillahhh~" kerana hari ni rezeki jatuh dari langit tanpa henti-henti. Papa bought pizza for breakfast--- so weird right, but so yummy. Came to the office with a tupperware; four slices of beef pepperoni pizza in it. Thought about having lunch at the clubhouse with some friends later that afternoon, but one generous office-mate of mine gave one bungkus of delicious nasi lemak. Dah lame tak makan nasi lemak, how did you knowww? :c ♥ So makan kat dalam ofis je. Things got even better when a guy gave me a box of sweet honey lokan. Dawhhh I love you guys~ Mekasihhh. C:

. Wineville Chicken Coop Murders

Current mood: Unpleasant

Listening to: Random voices

Have you watched the movie 'The Changeling'?

You should. It's based on a true story, a very disturbing one. Angelina Jolie played as one of the victims' mother; Christine Collins, of the shocking Wineville Chicken Coop Murders case.

I'm not going to elaborate on the whole story 'coz I think it's best if you watch the movie and read the case. You'll get a better picture. There are some parts that don't go together if you compare the movie and the case, but that's the beauty of it, I suppose. It remains a mystery up until now about the boy; Walter Collins. Either he managed to escape from getting brutally murdered or that maybe he didn't get the chance to.

The story is an eye-opener.

It shocks you, it makes you think, it makes you sad, it makes you angry, it makes you sick, and it makes you wonder. I know it makes me wonder.

I question myself whether Walter Collins was able to escape from getting murdered as the authorities weren't able to identify the bodies as one of Walter's, thus the movie implied that maybe the boy had managed to escape. However, during the case there was no proof of any escaping, plus the mother of the murderer claimed the boy had been killed. But the murderer made a confession that he didn't, but admitted he had killed other young boys. See what I mean? It's a mystery, at least to me. But most of us believe that Walter Collins had never got the chance to run away. He was just 9 years old during that time.

If you've seen the movie, this link here might interest you; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wineville_Chicken_Coop_Murders.

The above picture was taken by Lisa. The girl also wrote...

"This is the actual house where the serial killer/pedifile Gordon Stewart Northcott lived at in 1928. Brought to light by the true movie, The Changeling, starring Angelina Jolie. The house is located in Mira Loma California, formerly known as Wineville California. They changed the name in 1930 because of all the negative publicity. "

"I live less than 5 miles from this house and after watching the movie I drove to go see where the horrific torture and murders of all those young boys took place. I left there shaking and sick to my stomach."

"When the movie was first released in October 2008, the house was occupied. The ABC news interviewed the occupant. Since then the people have moved and the house is now up for sale. When I was there, there were also other people who came to take pictures. So I'm not sure if the occupants moved after learning about the grizzly murders that took place there, or because of all the attention it is attracting."

"The murders took place in the chicken coop behind the house which has since been torn down. If you haven’t seen the movie, I highly recommend it. Details of the case can also be read at wikipedia wineville murders."

"Sorry for such a morbid post, but this movie really affected me. Maybe because it was so close to home. There are "no trespassing" signs on the window now. In my opinion, this house should be torn down!"

The poor boys were raped, tortured and murdered.

I actually cried watching Changeling. The story sends chills up my spine, and always gives me unpleasant feeling. I felt so strongly towards the boys... It's just unbearable.

. Footprints on Cameron's land

Current mood: Superrr

Listening to: Bunyi kipas

Every month I always mark my office calendar.

Like so.

Purposely marked 30th and 31st of January even though it's still too soon.

Wellanywayyy--- Last two weeks was KKMM's holiday at Cameron Highlands! Who said the place ain't at its normal temperature anymore? It's still c,c,colddd to me. Especially during night time. No wait, petang-petang pon dah start sejukkk.

Cameron Highlands still can amaze me. I mean the beauty there just never leaves. Mother-nature works nicely there dawhhh. C:

So us friends always plan for a perfect holiday for just the four of us every year. And this year we decided to drive all the way to Cameron. Before that we did browse around the net to find a suitable place to stay for two nights. And I came across this website here; http://www.balaschalet.com/.

If you did click on the link there, you'd probably be amazed by the beauty of the place. And so were the four of us that time when we first checked the website. We then made our decision to stay there.

Bala's Holiday Chalet is a difficult place to find. I'm serious! Apparently it really is a hidden place. Noit'snot, butwethinksoyeah. :c And OMGWHAT, the hidden-road that leads to the hidden-chalet is frightening especially if you're driving a big car. Takot siord jalan tu. Sempit satu, dan juga cerun gilak. Parking would be another problem 'coz there are only a few good spots. Yang lain sume cam bleh tumbang kete je.

So when we got there, got out from the car, our reaction was...

Shio: .....
Nox: .....
Fumi: .....

Anddd---

Me: .....So is this really the place?
Shio, Nox, & Fumi: *groans*

'COZ IT LOOKED DIFFERENT 'KAY. Comparing to the website LOLOLOL!!1!oneone!!11eleven. On the website it looked like a wide place; an open area. But in reality, it's a lil' cramped. Don't get me wrong, the place is still pretty. It's just--- it gives this very restricted kinda feeling... I dunno.

'Kay, we tried to be optimistic. I had to since I was the one recommended the place right LOL. Atleast they've got a beautiful garden. So when we got the key, we headed to our room. We had trouble unlocking the door at first. It appears that Bala's Chalet is one of the oldest colonial buildings. It's been preserved in its original structure till today so yeah, they sustain almost everything there including the doors; ancient doorsss.

And when we finally did get to unlock it...

Me: ..........Are you serious?
Nox: Whose idea was this again???
Me: TEEHEE. :c
Shio: *walks to the bathroom* Aaahhh I can't use thisss---
Fumi: OMGLOLFREAKY.

The room wasn't what we expected. But don't get me wrong. It's not bad, it's just, you know, since they're trying to maintain the place, you have to expect old furnitures; beds, sofas, carpets, bathrooms, and toiletsss.

Ya Rabbi, ade lubang besar kat pintu kitorang plak tu. Besar, tapi takde la besar gedabak. But it's still quite huge, I mean, you can see everything through it. And we didn't want any creeper to take a peep or anything. Kitorang sumbat dengan kertas A4 yang telah dilipat-lipat LOL.

The first night was a lil' bit awkward (we were still concerned about the hole). Later we were okay with everything. We then came to realize that the chalet is quite a nice place to stay. Just that they need to vacuum the carpets more often 'coz they're pretty dusty. My friends sneezed like crazy.

Tapi malam-malam memang freakyyy.

Tapi siang-siang memang purdyyy.

Pictures at the chalet like so.

All in all, it was a great vacation. Being at a cold place, eating steamboat food with hot teh tarik or milo or nescafe is just pure bliss. Shopping sakan kat pasar malam. 'Coz we're strawberry freaks of nature. Nampak bantal strawberry, beli. Nampak keychain strawberry, beli. Nampak magnet strawberry, beli. Nampak payung strawberry, beli. Nampak ice-cream strawberry, beli. Nampak strawberry pon beli.

We took plenty of pictures. One of the reasons is 'coz Nox like to take the auto three shots. Most of the shots are pure crack! First picture will look normal; your regular poses, second shot will be weird, and then third will be weirder. It's 'coz you want to pose steadily for the first click, and you don't want the second and third picture to turn out the same right? And since we had less than a second to change poses, the images became unbelievably crack. Behold!

'Kay so only two looked fail there. But believe me, there are plenty more. Gambar ketige salu jadi pelik sebab time tu cam dah nak tergelak. The third picture will always summon that one goofy character like the one they have by Disney; GOOFY UHYUK. Sape lagi. Psst the summoned goofy character is the tallest one. I mean look at her! So cheerful LOL. Tapi saya tidak mahu upload yang lain sebab censored--- I mean... sebab censoreddd.

Later days! :D

P/S: Don't you just love the picture I took where my friend jumped with a broom stick there? I actually got the idea from this image below here where I found it on this person's blog. I think it's friggin' adorable LOL.

I call it the Harry Potterrr... something art!
